CRIME

Every resident of Louisiana deserves to feel safe in their own homes and vehicles. But many don’t. Violence and drugs are undermining our ability to feel safe in our own homes. I will continue supporting our men and women in Law Enforcement, giving them the resources needed to combat the fentanyl crisis, maintain a presence in high-crime areas and return calm and normalcy to our communities.

Infrastructure & Traffic

A 2021 report found that Baton Rouge drivers spend an extra 60 hours a year sitting in traffic
due to our poor roads, costing them an extra 26 gallons of gas, and over $600 more in extra operating costs including repairs. The poor condition of Louisiana highways and bridges is costing all of us time, money, and economic opportunity.

Fiscal respoNSIBILITY

Louisiana businesses and taxpayers would benefit from a simplified tax code, and that means more jobs. We need to unlock dedicated funds, increase fiscal accountability, end pet project spending, and lower our tax burden to attract businesses to our state and keep our children from leaving for better opportunities. 

Education

I’m a parent. I spent years of my career working in schools. I struggled with the same worry that so many of our parents face today- are the schools available to my kids safe? Effective? Every parent deserves the opportunity to choose the best school for their child.
